Maureen Broy Papovich, Soprano

Maureen Broy Papovich originally hails from Baltimore where she completed her undergraduate
degree in vocal performance. In 2005, Maureen earned a master’s in music from the University
of Arizona. At UA, she participated in the opera and choral programs and won scholarship
prizes in the Marguerite Ough and President’s Concerto Competitions. After graduating,
Ms. Papovich joined the 2005 Arizona Opera School Tour. She has performed as a recitalist
and soloist with local groups including the Arizona Early Music Society, St. Philips Friends
of Music, the Southern Arizona Symphony and the Arizona Symphonic Winds. Currently, she
sings with the Tucson Chamber Artists and is a soprano staff singer at St. Philips in the
Hills Episcopal Church. She teaches voice in her home studio where she resides with her
husband, Casey and their infant son, Jonah.
