Matthew Holter, Tenor

Originally from Moorhead, Minnesota, Matthew Holter is an accomplished lyric tenor and director having performed throughout the United States and abroad in Russia and China. His stage credits include numerous roles from opera to musical theatre to dance. Emphasizing the importance and vitality of chamber literature, Matthew has excelled in the research and performance of music from the Renaissance and Baroque in addition to premiering new works from today’s composers. He earned his undergraduate degree in music education from the University of Arizona and received his master’s degree in voice from Washington State University. Matthew and his wife live in Tucson with their two children.
