Michael Boswell, Tenor

Michael Boswell is currently on faculty at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana where he conducts both choirs and teaches voice. He is also active as a soloist and chorister, having performed throughout much of the United States. Michael frequently appears with the Santa Fe Desert Chorale, but has also performed with Santa Fe Pro Musica as a soloist and chorister in Bach's
St. John Passion and Haydn's
Creation. In addition, he has recently appeared with the Minneapolis-based Alchemy Ensemble, and was tenor soloist with The Bach Institute at Valparaiso University for Bach's Cantata No. 22,
Jesus nahm zu sich die Zwölfe. He made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2007 in a performance of Bach's
St. Matthew Passion under the direction of Helmuth Rilling. Michael received his master of music degree in voice from Indiana State University and his bachelor of music degree in vocal performance from East Carolina University.
